As a North Carolina native, I’m proud to call the Triangle home. My free time is often spent with friends over a glass of rosé, walking our dog, indulging in delicious Southern food, or traveling. I also have a deep love for history - whether it’s museums or monuments, learning about the past brings me so much joy. That passion naturally connects to my photography, where I strive to capture and preserve meaningful stories.
My journey with photography began at Durham School of the Arts, where I studied film photography. From the very start, I’ve been fascinated by the power of images - their ability to freeze moments in time and tell stories that last for generations. I love exploring new places with my camera, capturing emotions, and creating timeless images that honor legacies. Whether I’m photographing portraits, landscapes, or special events, my goal is always the same: to craft images that are both unique and unforgettable.

A new baby brings so many changes - life as you know it will never be the same. Maternity and newborn sessions give you the chance to freeze time and capture this incredibly special season of life. Pregnancy is a time to reflect on the journey that led you to this moment, and whether this is your first child or your fifth, honoring the foundation of your family is so important.
I recommend scheduling your Maternity Session 1 to 1.5 months before your due date. This session includes two outfit changes and one hour of photography coverage at a location of your choice. Once your little one arrives, I suggest booking your Newborn Session within 7 to 14 days after birth. This session includes two outfit changes and one hour of photography coverage at your home. Pets and siblings are always welcome to join in on the fun!

How do I reserve you for my date?
I’ll email you an electronic contract with all the details and logistics for your portrait session. Once the contract is signed, your booking is officially confirmed. I’ll also send an electronic invoice for payment.

Do you travel for Sessions?
Yes, absolutely! I love to travel. Travel and accommodations are not included in the prices listed above. Based in Durham, NC, I’m always excited to shoot on the road. For locations more than 50 miles from my home, an additional travel fee will apply.

What equipment do you use?
I am a hybrid photographer, meaning I include a mix of digital and film photography in my work. I typically shoot with a Canon R5, Contax 645, and a Pentax 645n. I use a variety of lenses depending on the situation, subject, and lighting. Curious about why I shoot film? Read this blog post to learn more!

When and how will we receive our photos?
My typical turnaround time is 2-3 weeks after your portrait session. Your images will be delivered via an online gallery, where you can easily download them to your desktop and share them with friends and family. The gallery will remain accessible indefinitely. Once delivered, you’ll have full rights to your images.
